Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler has insisted that he felt "comfortable" throughout his first start in the NFL.
The 25-year-old replaced all-time passing yards record holder Peyton Manning as the team's starter for their game against the Chicago Bears after the veteran struggled through a foot injury last week.
Osweiler, who was a second-round Draft pick in 2012, told reporters: "Today is not about me. It's about the team. At the end of the day, it's just a football game.
"I was comfortable, I really was, from the very first snap. Last week helped a lot. I could not be more proud of the entire football team."
The 17-15 win leaves the Broncos at the top of the AFC West with an 8-2 record.
