New England Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio admits that they will undergo a lot of summer changes to the team that won the Super Bowl last season.

New England Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio has conceded that the team for the 2015 season will be different from the side that won the Super Bowl.

Several of the Patriots' players will be out of contract when the league year officially ends in March, including Devin McCourty and Shane Vereen, while the club are also attempting to restructure All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis's contract.

Caserio told the club's official website: "We're going through an evaluation process. When we get back here from the combine, we'll actually go through pretty comprehensive analysis of our roster, go through player by player, strengths, weaknesses, what we see their role as and what their future's gonna be moving forward.

"Those are decisions that will be made at the appropriate time. The reality is our team is going to be different from what it was last year.

"That's just a reality of the NFL and a reality that every team faces. We'll go through, and in the end we'll do what we feel is best for the organization moving forward."

The Patriots won the Super Bowl for the fourth time in the history of their franchise courtesy of a 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
