The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed a deal with the Detroit Lions to re-sign defensive end George Johnson, according to reports.
The Lions beat the Bucs to the signing of Johnson two days ago, after they matched the three-year deal that the Florida side had initially offered.
NFL Media reports that Johnson will now move to Tampa Bay, after the sides agreed to swap late-round picks in the NFL Draft later this month.
The 27-year-old has appeared in 27 matches for the Lions, Minnesota Vikings and Buccaneers, who he previously played for between 2010 and 2012.
