Paul Pierce has said that the Brooklyn Nets were "off" their game during their 109-98 defeat to the New York Knicks.
The Nets fell behind to their local rivals early on, leaving them with just one win in their four-game series against the Knicks this season.
The small forward told reporters: "Tonight was an example of how not to take a step forward. We were off our game offensively, defensively, all phases of the game and that's not how you want to go into the playoffs."
The Nets play their final game of the regular season against the Cleveland Cavaliers later today.
