Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Wednesday evening's games in the NBA.

The Indiana Pacers slipped to their second defeat in as many nights, being comfortably beaten by the Charlotte Bobcats.

The Eastern Conference leaders made a sluggish start, scoring just eight points in the first quarter, and were unable to recover as Al Jefferson led the Bobcats to the victory.

The Houston Rockets needed a strong second-half performance to clinch a win over the Orlando Magic.

The visitors were behind heading into the third quarter, but James Harden led the comeback, scoring 25 of his 31 points after the break to help he Rockets to a big winning margin.

The Golden State Warriors cruised to a win over the Boston Celtics with a dominant display at TD Garden.

The visitors opened up a 31-point lead during the third quarter before coach Mark Jackson decided to rest his starters, allowing the Celtics to cut their lead in the fourth quarter.

The Portland Trail Blazers thrashed the Atlanta Hawks despite missing a number of players through injury.

LaMarcus Aldridge struggled early on, but was able to add 12 points in the second half, while Nicolas Batum and Mo Williams also reached double figures to help the Blazers to victory.

The Chicago Bulls needed a good spell in the fourth quarter to seal a win over the Detroit Pistons.

The Pistons started the game well, leading by six at the end of the first quarter, but DJ Augustin and Taj Gibson led Chicago back into the game before surging ahead in the final 12 minutes.

The Dallas Mavericks could not recover from a quick start by the Denver Nuggets as they slipped to their third defeat in a row.

The home side spread the workload as they opened up a 17-point lead heading into half time, before JJ Hickson scored 12 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter to make sure that the Nuggets remained ahead.

The Brooklyn Nets extended their winning run to four games with victory against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Joe Johnson and Marcus Thornton combined for 41 as the Nets eased to a 27-point advantage, but the Grizzlies fought back in the fourth quarter, finishing just nine points behind.

The Washington Wizards continued their recent good form with victory over the Utah Jazz, leaving them with seven wins in the last eight games.

The home side had five players in double figures, including Trevor Ariza with 26 and veteran Drew Gooden, who is with the team on a 10-day contract.

The New York Knicks ended their seven-game losing streak with a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The game was close after three quarters but Carmelo Anthony kept adding points in the fourth quarter, while Amar'e Stoudemire also had a late run, ensuring a Knicks win.

The Sacramento Kings sealed just their ninth away win of the season as they beat the Milwaukee Bucks.

The visitors shot well throughout the game, as Isaiah Thomas, Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins all finished with more than 20 points.
