Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Friday night's games in the NBA.

The Miami Heat returned to form with a comfortable win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The defending NBA champions had been on a three-game losing streak, but Chris Bosh and LeBron James got Miami off to a good start in Philadelphia to get them back to winning ways.

The San Antonio Spurs' six-game winning streak came to an end in their meeting with the Portland Trail Blazers.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the Portland charge with 26 points and 13 rebounds, while Wesley Matthews hit a series of late shots to ensure the win.

Kevin Durant scored a career-high 54 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Golden State Warriors.

The NBA's leading points scorer added 11 points in a strong two-minute spell in the fourth quarter, extending the Thunder's lead to 17 before the Warriors cut their advantage with a late push.

The Los Angeles Clippers pulled away from the New York Knicks in the second half to inflict the third straight defeat on their hosts.

Despite being ill in the run up to the game, Jamal Crawford added 29, while Blake Griffin led the team with 32 to seal the win.

The Los Angeles Lakers dominated the fourth quarter of their game against the Boston Celtics to end their six-game losing streak.

The Lakers were six points down heading into the final 12 minutes, but a couple of free throws inside the last 10 seconds from Ryan Kelly secured the win.

Rajon Rondo, who was playing for the first time in almost a year, had a chance to add a three-pointer at the death to send the game to overtime, but his shot missed the target.

The Washington Wizards prevented the Chicago Bulls from scoring late on to clinch a slender victory.

John Wall had 23 points in the Wizards' third win in a row, while the Bulls were held to just one field goal in the final five minutes, missing a series of late chances.

The Dallas Mavericks survived a strong finish from the Phoenix Suns to take a narrow win.

Rookie Shane Larkin scored a career-high 18 points, with nine coming in the final quarter to stop the home side edging ahead late on.

The Charlotte Bobcats dug deep to seal a win over the Orlando Magic, despite their opponents coming back from an 18-point deficit.

The Magic were being well beaten in the first half before Arron Afflalo got them back into contention, but Al Jefferson ensured that the Bobcats stayed ahead in the fourth quarter.

A strong first-half performance set the Cleveland Cavaliers up for a win over the Denver Nuggets.

Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson combined for 43, as the Cavaliers opened up an 11-point lead by half time.

The Utah Jazz thrashed the Detroit Pistons, with strong spells either side of half time opening up a big lead.

Trey Burke scored 20 points and a career-high 12 assists against a Pistons side that could not get their rhythm going following a five-day break.

A late shot gave the Memphis Grizzlies a one-point win over the Sacramento Kings at FedExForum.

Mike Conley, who finished the game with 25 points, grabbed the ball inside the final two seconds to add a jump shot, clinching the win for the hosts.

The Toronto Raptors maintained their lead at the top of the Atlantic Division with a narrow win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kyle Lowry ensured that the home side claimed their ninth win in their last 11 outings, scoring 24 points for the Canadian team.
