Sports Mole rounds up Tuesday evening's action from the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors extended their winning streak in the NBA to 10 games with a one-point victory over the Orlando Magic.

The home side appeared to be pulling away early on, but the Magic got back into the game with a run of points after the break, before Stephen Curry put the Warriors back in front with a three-pointer just over two seconds from the end of the game.

The Cleveland Cavaliers made it four wins in a row with a narrow victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love combined for 81, but it was a string of late shots from Mike Miller that sealed the win for the home side, as he added two three-pointers in his 18-minute spell in the second half.

Last season's league MVP Kevin Durant returned to action with the Oklahoma City Thunder, but his 27-point season debut could not prevent them from losing to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Durant missed the start of the season with a broken foot, and looked sharp in his first appearance of the campaign, but the Thunder fell behind early on before Tyreke Evans scored 15 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter, putting the win beyond doubt for the hosts.

The Toronto Raptors continue to lead the Eastern Conference after Kyle Lowry led them to a victory over the Sacramento Kings.

The Canadian side are without injured guard DeMar DeRozan, but Lowry and Terrence Ross stepped up in his absence to end a run of back-to-back defeats for the Raptors.

The Dallas Mavericks needed double overtime after leading early on to secure of win over the Chicago Bulls.

It looked like the visitors would be cruising to the win when they outscored the Bulls 34-21 in the second quarter, but Pau Gasol led Chicago back into the game, while Derrick Rose tied the scores in first overtime.

The sides remained close in the second period, but Monta Ellis made three free throws in the final moments to secure the win for Dallas.

The Los Angeles Lakers wrapped up just their fifth win of the season, beating the Detroit Pistons at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

There was little between the two sides in the first half, but Kobe Bryant ensured that the Lakers pulled away in the third quarter, adding 12 points in a row after the break.

The Brooklyn Nets beat their city rivals the New York Knicks for the second time this season, despite a strong finish from the hosts.

Brook Lopez helped open up a big lead for the visitors, but Carmelo Anthony got the Knicks back into the game, before missing a potentially game-tying three-pointer late on.

The Portland Trail Blazers finished strongly to edge past the Denver Nuggets to move to a 14-4 record so far this season.

Ty Lawson led the home side to a lead before half time, but LaMarcus Aldridge brought the Blazers back into contention, finishing the game with 39, before Robin Lopez added the winning basket with 1.3 seconds remaining.

The Phoenix Suns cruised to a comfortable win over the Indiana Pacers to secure their fourth straight win.

Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe combined for 61 as the Suns beat the Pacers for the second time this season, putting in a strong shooting performance in the second half.

The Atlanta Hawks dominated the fourth quarter of their game against the Boston Celtics to hand their opponents a fifth straight defeat.

The Celtics had made a strong start, opening up a 16-point lead by the break, but Kyle Korver led the comeback for the hosts, finishing the game with 24 points.
