Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Saturday's games in the NBA as the Philadelphia 76ers inflict a shock defeat on Eastern Conference leaders Atlanta Hawks.

The Atlanta Hawks slipped to a shock defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers following a strong second-half display from the home side at the Wells Fargo Center.

The Eastern Conference leaders, who had won their last six coming into this contest, took the lead through Jeff Teague in the first half, but Hollis Thompson and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute wiped out the 16-point deficit after the break to clinch their side's 14th win of the season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers cruised to victory over the Phoenix Suns to move clear in second place in the Eastern Conference.

LeBron James and Kyrie Irving established a 28-point lead for the hosts heading into the fourth quarter, allowing the Cavaliers to rest their starters for the final 12 minutes as they wrapped up the victory.

The Houston Rockets eased to a comfortable win over the Denver Nuggets to end a run of three straight defeats away from home.

The sides were well matched in the first quarter, but James Harden and Cory Brewer, who finished with 52 points between them, ensured that the Rockets pulled away in the second.

The Miami Heat clinched an overtime win against the Sacramento Kings after coming from 10 points down late in regulation.

The hosts were trailing heading into the fourth quarter, but Tyler Johnson managed to tie the scores in the final second with a long-range three-pointer, before he and Dwayne Wade kept the points coming in overtime.

The Indiana Pacers needed a late push to pick up their fifth win in a row, edging past the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in the second game between these two sides in four days.

The Pacers struggled with their shooting throughout the opening three quarters, leaving the Knicks just ahead, but George Hill hit his stride late on to put the visitors ahead after Rodney Stuckey had added 17.

The Portland Trail Blazers were beaten for the first time in five outings as they slipped to a narrow loss against Minnesota Timberwolves.

Damian Lillard ensured that Portland edged ahead in the first half, but Kevin Martin kept the Wolves in contention before Ricky Rubio put the hosts ahead with a minute to go.

The New Orleans Pelicans overturned an 18-point deficit in the second half to secure a win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Mike Conley gave the visitors the lead heading into the interval, but Tyreke Evans ensured that the Pelicans turned it around in the third quarter, finishing the game with 26 points.

The Milwaukee Bucks snapped their four-game losing streak with a closely-fought win over the Washington Wizards.

Khris Middleton scored a career-high 30 before Zaza Pachulia put the Bucks ahead with 40 seconds to play, with Paul Pierce missing a chance to make it close when a three-pointer fell short.
