Nicolas Batum has insisted that the Portland Trail Blazers can progress in the NBA playoffs after beating the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.
A 103-92 victory reduced San Antonio's lead to 3-1 in the second round, and Batum believes that Portland can go on to become the first team in playoff history to come from three games behind to win a series.
"Why not us? No, it's never been done before," the 25-year-old told reporter after the game. "We know it's going to be tough. It won't be easy, especially against this team.
"We had nothing to lose tonight. We had no pressure. It was do or die. So we just go out there and play."
The Blazers will look to stave off elimination once again in game five on Wednesday night.
