Some names resound through time in the exciting and dynamic world of professional boxing, leaving traces of the sport's colorful nature. One such name is Yevgeny 'The Hurricane' Alekseev. According to Tomasz Dębek, a seasoned writer and contributor to the prestigious portal Kasynos.Online, Yevgeny is a resounding example of the strength of tenacity, talent, and steadfast devotion to this beautiful art.

This extensive review examines the life, career, and impact of "The Hurricane," examining the numbers, facts, and moments that shaped his journey.

Early Years of 'The Hurricane'

Born on the 6th of July, 1993, in Latvia, The Hurricane is a force to be reckoned with in combat sports. He developed a passion for boxing while still a child by watching old fights with his father.

The Hurricane's entry into kickboxing marked a fascinating turn in his path in combat sports. His choice would eventually determine how he would proceed in the martial arts. Alekseev's hidden abilities started to emerge as he turned his attention to kickboxing, and he quickly rose through the ranks, becoming well-known at an incredibly young age.

Alekseev began his kickboxing career at 13, competing in matches that followed the same rules as kickboxing. His talent for the game was immediately apparent, and he produced outstanding results.

He stunned the kickboxing community in months by winning seven fights in a row, which helped him win the esteemed title of world champion, a feat he accomplished in Italy. As a testament to his outstanding talent and commitment, Alekseev had already established himself as the European champion by age 15.

Transition to Pro Boxing

The Hurricane returned to the spotlight thanks to his unwavering character and incredible talent. Alekseev realized his potential in professional boxing even though he had excelled in kickboxing. After a crucial talk with his coach, he bravely decided to change his focus and turn to boxing, a traditional sport with a special meaning.

Alekseev turned to three-time cruiserweight world champion and Latvian boxing phenom Mairis Briedis for advice and motivation. Alekseev sharpened his talents, gained priceless knowledge, and propelled his rapid climb of professional boxing by participating in countless sparring sessions with Briedis.

He experienced a setback in 2015 that might have ended his budding career. He broke his leg in just 17 seconds of the first round of his battle at the KOC World Championship battle Show. His bright future seemed to be overcast by this injury. But Alekseev's unwavering spirit and tenacious drive did not crumble. He returned stronger.

His Professional Career

Yevgeny only performed in his native Riga for his 13-fight career. However, this geographical restriction did not prevent him from competing with and outlasting more experienced professionals. One of his most significant triumphs came in 2021 against Pavel Semjonov, whom he thoroughly outclassed. The judges scored the bout 80-72, 77-75, and 78-74 in favor of the Latvian expert.

The fantastic list of opponents Alekseev has defeated includes Slobodan "El Coyote" Culum of Serbia, Siarhei Khamitski of Belarus, former WBA interim middleweight championship candidate Deniss Kormilin of Estonia, and others.

Alekseev has proven his strength and competence in the boxing ring with a knockout record of 53.85%. He adopts an orthodox stance, and in the middleweight division, his height gives him an edge by giving him a slight reach advantage over rivals. Throughout his fighting career, he has been able to outpoint and outmuscle his opponents because of this.

His Latest Victory

'The Hurricane' Alekseev engaged in his latest bout on August 5, 2023, against Frenchman Dimitri Trenel at the Hotel Holiday World in Benalmadena, Spain. As the two combatants entered the ring, the atmosphere was electric with expectation.

In the opening rounds, Alekseev displayed his trademark quickness and accuracy while Trenel relentlessly advanced. Alekseev showed technical mastery throughout the fight, slipping and blocking Trenel's blows.

A significant turn of events came in the third round when Alekseev landed a crushing combination that knocked Trenel. Trenel could not continue, and Alekseev won by knockout as a result. With his hand raised in victory, Alekseev celebrated his triumph, adding another remarkable chapter to his undefeated career.
