England take three wickets in the first session on day five, but must bowl out India quickly after lunch to have any chance of winning the first Test.

England still have a faint chance of claiming a dramatic victory in the first Test against India, but have to take wickets quickly after the lunch break on day five.

India started the day on 167-3, 128 runs ahead of the hosts, but were only able to add 63 runs to their total as three wickets fell.

Overcast conditions at Trent Bridge favoured England's swing bowlers and Stuart Broad was able to remove danger man Virat Kohli (8) lbw in the second over of the day.

Soon after, Broad had another victim when Ajinkya Rahane (24) nicked a full delivery through to Matt Prior.

India's captain MS Dhoni (11) was the third man to fall before lunch, failing to clip away Liam Plunkett's reverse-swinging delivery that saw his stumps uprooted.

Ravindra Jadeja (18*) and Stuart Binny (26*) have quietened England down and will be at crease after lunch, with India on 230-6 leading by 191 runs.
