Jos Buttler hit the fastest Twenty20 international half-century by an England player as his side eased past Australia with a 28-run win at Edgbaston on Wednesday.
The right-handed batsman reached the figure from 22 balls and went on to hit 61, helping the hosts to their second-highest T20 total.
Alex Hales contributed 49 runs and Jason Roy 44, giving Australia - thrashed 5-0 in the recent one-day series - a target of 221-5 to chase down in the Midlands.
In response, Aaron Finch struck 84 from 41 balls, but Ashton Agar's 29 was the next-highest tally as the Baggy Greens once again faltered.
Australia were bowled out for 193, with England spinner Adil Rashid ending with figures of 3-27.
Next up for England is another T20 international against India at Old Trafford on Tuesday.
