Timothee Chalamet 'to team up with Luca Guadagnino for cannibalism movie'

Timothee Chalamet is reportedly in talks to appear in a film centred around cannibalism.

Timothee Chalamet is reportedly in talks to reunite with Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino for a movie about cannibalism.

Bones & All follows a young girl - likely to be played by Lost In Space's Taylor Russell - as she attempts to track down her father to find out why she has the desire to kill and eat her loved ones.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chalamet is in final negotiations about taking an unspecified "leading role" in the project, which could begin filming as soon as April or May.

The subject matter appears to be simultaneously apt and awkward, with Chalamet's Call Me By Your Name co-star Armie Hammer currently embroiled in a scandal that has seen multiple ex-girlfriends allege that he sent them messages detailing cannibalistic fetishes.

Hammer has maintained silence for much of the last month following the claims, although he did brand the original story "bullshit".

Guadagnino has previously outlined his intent to make a follow-up to Call Me By Your Name with Chalamet and Hammer at some point in the future.
