Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has claimed that the club's perfect start to the Scottish Premiership season was not beyond his expectations.
The Dons secured a 2-1 home win over champions Celtic on Saturday to sit top of the table with six wins from six.
McInnes told BBC Sport: "Privately, we stripped the season back to the first international break - the five games - and looked to get maximum points from that. Thankfully we got that and then it was going into the Celtic game, which we felt we could win."
Aberdeen take on Hamilton Academical on Tuesday night.
