AC Milan consider a January swoop for Alessandro Diamanti, according to reports.

AC Milan are reportedly considering a bid to bring ex-West Ham United striker Alessandro Diamanti back to Serie A.

The 31-year-old joined Chinese outfit Guangzhou Evergrande, currently managed by former Italy coach Marcello Lippi, in February and won the title in his first season.

However, Sky Sport Italia claims that the striker may be tempted to move to San Siro and link up with Rossoneri boss Filippo Inzaghi.

Is it also thought that Guangzhou forward Alberto Gilardino is looking to return to Italy, with Atalanta a possible destination for the former Azzurri international.
