Arsenal have beaten North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in tonight's FA Cup third-round tie at the Emirates Stadium.
Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky scored either side of the break to see Arsene Wenger's men into the hat for the fourth round.
The first chance of the game went the way of the visitors, as Laurent Koscielny's clearance only went as far as Christian Eriksen, but Lukasz Fabianski spared the Frenchman's blushes by denying the Dane at his near post.
Theo Walcott missed a wonderful chance in the 26th minute when he was played through by Cazorla, but he fired straight at Hugo Lloris.
The Gunners took the lead just after the half-hour mark, when Serge Gnabry bolted to the edge of the box and teed up an unmarked Cazorla to rifle into the top corner.
It stayed that way until Rosicky caught Danny Rose dwelling on the ball on the halfway line as Arsenal broke from a defensive set piece.
Although Kyle Walker managed to make up ground to challenge the Czech as he surged into the Spurs half unchecked, he could do nothing to stop him from lifting the ball over Lloris and into the net to send the Emirates into raptures.
Wenger's side had to play the remaining 10 minutes with 10 men as Walcott was stretchered off after a challenge with Rose, but they came close to adding a third when Mesut Ozil shot at goal. However, a fine fingertip save from Lloris kept the scoreline at 2-0.
