Atletico Madrid 'want Arsenal's Hector Bellerin'

Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in securing a deal for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin during the summer transfer window.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly contemplating whether to make an approach for Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin.

Having spent the majority of his professional career representing the Gunners, the 26-year-old is said to be open to a new challenge.

A number of clubs around Europe, including Paris Saint-Germain and Real Betis, have been linked with a move for the Spaniard.

However, according to Marca, Atletico will join the race for the right-back if they part ways with Kieran Trippier or Sime Vrsaljko this summer.

While the La Liga champions would prefer to retain the services of Trippier, the Englishman allegedly has little interest in extending his contract past the end of next season.

A situation could realistically materialise where Bellerin replaces Trippier with Atletico making a small profit. body check tags ::
