Manchester City have reportedly offered forward Gabriel Jesus to Spanish giants Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid this summer.
The 25-year-old has been strongly linked with an exit from the Etihad Stadium following the arrivals of Erling Braut Haaland and Julian Alvarez.
Arsenal are believed to be one of the frontrunners to recruit Jesus this summer, with head coach Mikel Arteta regarding the Brazil international as one of his primary targets to replace the departing Alexandre Lacazette.
The Gunners are understood to have held talks with the player's agent Marcelo Pettinati and one report claims that they are preparing a £190,000-a-week contract offer for the forward.
However, Cadena Ser journalist Anton Meana reports that Jesus has been offered to both Atletico and Real Madrid, casting doubts over his potential switch to the Emirates Stadium.
The report adds that Los Blancos are interested in Jesus, while Atletico have turned down the chance to sign the forward, who is demanding a contract package worth in the region of €5m (£4.3m) after tax per year.
Jesus, who will soon be entering the final year of his £110,000-a-week contract at Man City, recorded 13 goals and 12 assists for Pep Guardiola's side in 41 appearances across all competitions in the 2021-22 campaign. body check tags ::
