Pablo Mari on brink of Arsenal loan exit?

Arsenal reportedly agree to allow defender Pablo Mari to join Udinese on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Udinese are reportedly on the brink of signing Arsenal defender Pablo Mari on a loan deal until the end of the season.

In two years at the Emirates Stadium, Mari has struggled to make an impact, featuring on just 14 occasions in the Premier League.

The last of those outings came in August, when the Gunners were defeated by Chelsea, and the 28-year-old has only made one outing in the EFL Cup since that performance.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Mari will spend the second half of the campaign at Serie A outfit Udinese.

Mari allegedly rejected the opportunity of another stint in South America to remain in one of European football's top leagues.

Romano adds that it is a straight loan agreement, with Mari in line to return to the Emirates Stadium in the summer. body check tags ::
