Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has revealed that he will not be able to spend much money during the January transfer window.
The Villans have several key players out injured at the moment but the former Norwich City boss concedes that he may have to continue their survival push with the players he has at his disposal.
"We're trying to do something within the structure of the club, but we won't be able to do [spend heavily], not a chance," Lambert told reporters.
"I get on really well with [chairman] Randy [Lerner]. He really has been great with me. I understand where he's coming from on a lot of things, and it is what it is.
"I'll work with it and, if I've got to go with the group I've got, then I'll go with it. I don't have a problem. I've got nothing but praise for these lads."
Villa are currently 18th in the Premier League but only on goal difference.
