Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each individual player performed during Atletico Madrid's 2-0 La Liga win over Getafe.

Atletico Madrid ended their three-game winless run in La Liga with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Getafe on Saturday.

Both goals came in the first period, with Fernando Torres and Tiago on the scoresheet at the Vicente Calderon.

Atletico remain fourth despite the win, while Getafe are still 13th, just four points clear of the bottom three.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each individual player performed in Madrid.

ATLETICO

Goal

Jan Oblak: Only had one very routine save to make, but the Slovenian was strong from crosses during an impressive game. Might have done enough to keep Miguel Moya out of the team. (6/10)

Defence

Juanfran: Proved a real threat down the right as he continued to break past the Getafe midfield. Set up a number of chances in the first period by producing quality in wide areas. (7/10)

Diego Godin: Returned from a European suspension to start alongside Jose Gimenez at centre-back. Absolutely cruised through the match with a typically strong performance. (7/10)

Jose Gimenez: Threw himself in front of everything, including a head-first block inside his own box. Getafe did not get any change from the outstanding young centre-back. (8/10)

Jesus Gamez: Has been given a new lease of life at left-back and continues to justify his selection. A little rash at times defensively, but caused a lot of problems in the final third. (7/10)

Midfield

Gabi: Still attempting to rediscover his best form after a difficult couple of months. Kept things ticking over, but did not particularly stand out for his team. (6/10)

Tiago: Scored Atletico's second of the match with a close-range header late in the first period. Brought calmness and composure to the middle of his side's midfield. (7/10)

Koke: Man-of-the-match performance from the Spaniard, who ran the show in Madrid. Set up his team's first of the match and was unlucky not to score after hitting the post. Radiated class. (8/10)

Attack

Arda Turan: Nice and tidy in forward areas without really threatening to make a serious contribution. Performed an unselfish role for his team in the final third. (6/10)

Raul Jimenez: Has not seen too much football this season, but had a decent match here. Set up Tiago for his side's second and caused problems with his physicality. (6/10)

Fernando Torres: Finally registered his first Atletico league goal since his return with a super header after just three minutes. Remained a threat throughout the match. (7/10)

Substitutes

Antoine Griezmann: Replaced Jimenez after 64 minutes and threatened with a couple of strong runs. Did not have too many chances to continue his fine scoring season, though. (6/10)

Cani: Only given the final 60 seconds. (5/10)

Mario Suarez: Entered alongside Cani for the final minute. (5/10)

GETAFE

Goal

Vicente Guaita: Could not do anything with either of the goals and kept his team in the match with some excellent saves in the first period. Can be pretty pleased on a personal level. (6/10)

Defence

Carlos Vigaray: Very inexperienced at this level, but did well to cope with the occasion. Was also prepared to break forward when Getafe managed to gain possession of the ball. (6/10)

Emiliano Velazquez: Started against Atletico despite being on loan from the Spanish champions. Looked a little lost in the first period, but grew into the match after the break. (6/10)

Naldo: Made a couple of good clearances early on, but picked up a booking after 36 minutes and was always wary of going into challenges from that point forward. (6/10)

Sergio Escudero: Was prepared to push into the final third and did well to deal with the threat of Turan. That said, the full-back was a little untidy in possession. (6/10)

Midfield

Pedro Leon: Quite comfortably Getafe's most involved player, but the Spaniard's quality from set pieces was really disappointing. Should have offered more in some good positions. (6/10)

Pablo Sarabia: Started behind Alvaro Vasquez, but dropped deeper and deeper as the match developed. Failed to make his mark as Atletico dominated the midfield battle. (5/10)

Diego Castro: Did his best to hustle Atletico in the middle of the park, but needed a bit more work and intensity from those around him. (6/10)

Mehdi Lacen: Did a good job of protecting his defence in the second period, but the damage had already been done in the first 45 minutes. (5/10)

Fredy Hinestroza: Had some bright moments in the first period, but faded after the break and it came as no surprise when he was replaced 20 minutes from time. (5/10)

Attack

Alvaro Vasquez: Would have fancied his chances of causing problems in the final third, but Getafe's leading scorer simply did not have enough genuine service. (6/10)

Substitutes

Karim Yoda: Entered after 72 minutes, but was forced off on a stretcher just 11 minutes later after picking up what looked to be a really nasty injury. (5/10)

Baba Diawara: Given the final 10 minutes to make an impact, but found it difficult to impact a period when Atletico were in control of the possession. (5/10)

Alex Felip: Had one half-chance late on, but saw his goal-bound effort blocked. (5/10)
