Atletico Madrid are reportedly close to signing Malaga skipper Jesus Gamez.
The 29-year-old has spent his entire career with Malaga, breaking into the first team in 2003 and since emerging into one of their most decorated players.
However, according to Dairio Sur, Gamez will sign a three-year contract with Atletico after the La Liga champions agreed a fee with their divisional rivals.
It is understood that the move will be announced over the next 24 hours.
