Barcelona have confirmed that Bayern Munich are interested in securing the services of Philippe Coutinho this month.
The Brazilian has failed to make an impact at Camp Nou since joining the club in January 2018, scoring just five times in La Liga last season.
It was claimed that Barcelona were ready to offer Coutinho to Paris Saint-Germain as part of a player-plus-cash deal for Neymar, but the Ligue 1 champions are reluctant to do business with the Catalans.
Speaking on the subject of Coutinho's next potential destination, a club spokesman said: "There is interest from FC Bayern, but there is no agreement. That is all there is to say at the moment."
Bayern are on the lookout for reinforcements in attack having lost Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, while James Rodriguez has returned to Real Madrid following a two-year loan spell at the Allianz Arena.
