Barcelona target Neymar 'to reject new Paris Saint-Germain contract'

Neymar reportedly intends to reject any offer of a new contract from Paris Saint-Germain in a bid to boost his chances of returning to Barcelona.

Neymar reportedly has no intention of penning a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain.

Since the end of last season, there has been frequent speculation regarding a return to Barcelona, just two years after leaving Camp Nou for the Parc des Princes.

With the forward having a deal until 2022, no transfer materialised during the summer transfer window, while PSG are unlikely to sell the 27-year-old at the midway point of this campaign.

However, Sport claims that Neymar will not consider extending his stay at the Ligue 1 champions, regardless of whether he is forced to spend at least one more season in France's capital.

The report adds that the attacker is still keen to secure a reunion with Barcelona, despite the Catalan giants needing to sell before they can contemplate a big-money approach.

Neymar has made just five appearances for PSG this season, scoring four goals.
