Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger believes that Germany do not get the praise they deserve.
The 28-year-old was part of the side that reached the Euro 2012 semi-finals, but he has demanded that they receive more respect for their performances.
"(Semi-final finishes) should not be taken for granted. We did not drop a point in the qualifiers, we beat top 10 teams in our group and then lost just one game," he told reporters.
The German has won 95 caps for his country.
