Everton offered chance to sign Franck Ribery?

:Headline: Everton offered chance to sign Franck Ribery?:
Everton are reportedly offered the chance to bring in former French international Franck Ribery, who left Bayern Munich at the end of last season.

Everton have reportedly been offered the chance to snap up ex-Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery on a free transfer.

The 36-year-old former French international left the Bavarian club, where he made more than 400 appearances in a 12-year spell, earlier this summer and is currently without a club.

Everton are believed to have been informed that the winger would be open to a move to Goodison Park, despite currently considering offers from America and Asia and being a target of Italian side Fiorentina.

90min.com reports that, although Toffees owner Farhad Moshiri is keen to bring big-name players like Ribery to the club, manager Marco Silva is unsure as to whether he would be an appropriate addition to his squad.

Should the former Marseille winger make a move to Merseyside, he would probably have to take a pay cut, as his final salary at Bayern was more than £25,000 a week higher than that picked up by Everton's top earners.
