Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has launched a verbal attack on the national team by labelling them a "disgrace".
The politician claimed that Georgy Kondratiev's side looked like they had "soiled their pants" during their 4-0 defeat to Spain in their 2014 World Cup qualifier last week.
"I've never seen the national team disgrace the nation so much in a match, even considering it was against the reigning world champions," said Lukashenko.
"Pardon me for saying this to the media, but it looked they'd soiled their pants and turned up on the pitch with trembling arms and legs."
Belarus will go up against Georgia this evening.
