Rangers will face either Servette or Genk in the Champions League third qualifying round.

After finishing second in the Scottish Premiership behind rivals Celtic last season, the Gers are seeking to reach the Champions League group stage for the second successive year in 2023-24.

Michael Beale's side have entered the League Path for this year's Champions League qualifiers and were categorised as a seeded team along with Braga, Marseille and PSV Eindhoven.

Rangers came from behind to beat Union SG in a third-round qualifier last year, and they could face another Belgian side at the same stage this term if Genk come out on top against Swiss club Servette in their second qualifying round tie.

Servette are scheduled to host the first leg with Genk in Geneva on Tuesday, eight days before the reverse fixture in Belgium.

Elsewhere in the draw, Portuguese club Braga will take on Serbian side Backa Topola, while Eredivisie outfit PSV Eindhoven will face Sturm Graz of Austria.

Ligue 1 giants Marseille, meanwhile, will test their mettle against either Dnipro-1 of Ukraine or Panathinaikos of Greece.

All first-leg ties are scheduled to take place on August 8/9, with the return fixtures to be played on August 15.

The winners of all third qualifying round ties will enter the Champions League playoff round at the end of August.
