Second-half goals from Jamie Proctor and Antoni Sarcevic help to seal a memorable comeback win for Fleetwood Town as they twice come from behind to Bury in League One.

Second-half goals from Jamie Proctor and Antoni Sarcevic helped to inspire Fleetwood Town to a 4-3 comeback win over hosts Bury in League One this evening.

Bury made perfect inroads in the opening minutes when they took the lead through Leon Clarke, who fired down the centre of goal following Tom Pope's incisive pass.

Town sought to bring themselves back into the contest and the away side almost found a leveller through Sarcevic and Tyler Hornby-Forbes, but they both had efforts saved by Christian Walton.

The visitors finally found an equaliser in the 17th minute when Conor McLaughlin headed in from Antoni Sarcevic's perfectly-timed cross.

Parity was not to last too long, however, as Bury went back in front just two minutes later when Pope produced a timely ball across the face of the box, where Tom Soares was free to tuck into the bottom corner.

The first-half goals did not stop there, though, as Town responded yet again by finding another equaliser, this time as Tyler Hornby-Forbes fired into the bottom corner after being picked out by Jamie Proctor.

Neither side were able to register much in the way of goalmouth action in the second period, although Town made vital use of their first chance to go in front through Proctor as he finished crisply from the six-yard box.

The goal seemed to unsettle Bury and they made a huge mistake late on when Nathan Cameron brought down Lyle Della inside the area, leaving Sarcevic to finish from the penalty spot and make it 4-2 in favour of Fleetwood.

Bury were able to earn themselves a third goal through Danny Rose with seven minutes to play, although it proved too little too late as Town managed to hold on to see out a memorable comeback win.
