England Women are drawn against Norway, Austria and Northern Ireland at next year's European Championships in Group A.

England Women have been drawn against Norway Women, Austria and Northern Ireland in Group A at Euro 2022.

The Lionesses - hosting the tournament for the first time since 2005 - will firstly face Austria on July 6 at Old Trafford to kick off next year's European Championships.

Sarina Wiegman's outfit will then host Norway at the Amex Stadium on July 11 before rounding off their group campaign against Northern Ireland at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium on July 15.

England are seeking to win the Euros for the first time after finishing as runners-up in 1984 and 2009, while Northern Ireland are making their tournament debut after overcoming Ukraine in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, reigning champions Netherlands Women have been drawn against Sweden Women, Switzerland Women and Russia in Group C as they bid to defend their 2017 title.

Group B sees Germany Women go head-to-head with Denmark, Spain Women and Finland, while an eye-catching Group D sees Iceland battle France Women, Italy Women and Belgium. body check tags ::
