Everton are reportedly monitoring the form of RB Leipzig striker Yussuf Poulsen.

The 25-year-old scored 19 times in 44 appearances for Leipzig during the 2018-19 campaign.

The Denmark international has only managed one goal in six outings this term, although he has contributed six assists during an impressive start to the season.

According to The Express, Everton boss Marco Silva has told his scouts 'to make another round of extensive checks' on Poulsen with the Toffees also watching him last season.

The Merseyside giants signed Moise Kean from Juventus over the summer, but the Italy international is yet to find the back of the net for his new club, while Cenk Tosun is seemingly surplus to requirements at Goodison Park.

Everton are currently 15th in the Premier League table, having suffered back-to-back defeats to Bournemouth and Sheffield United in England's top flight.
