Report: Juventus line up Romulo swoop

Hellas Verona midfielder Romulo is reportedly close to signing for Italian champions Juventus on loan.

Juventus are reportedly on the verge of signing Hellas Verona midfielder Romulo.

The 27-year-old joined the Gialloblu earlier this month on a permanent basis, following a successful season on loan from Fiorentina.

However, Sport Mediaset and Sky Sport Italia have claimed that Romulo is close to joining the Italian champions on loan, with an option to make the move permanent for €7m (£5.54m).

Romulo was included in Italy's provisional 30-man squad for this summer's World Cup, but missed out on the tournament through injury.
