Jurgen Klopp: 'I'll be at Liverpool for many more years'

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists that he is ignoring the criticism as he attempts to get his side's campaign back on track against Huddersfield Town.

Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he is "100% responsible" for Liverpool's current run of form, but is confident that he will be at Anfield for many more years to come.

The 50-year-old is under pressure following a disappointing set of results that has seen the Reds exit the EFL Cup early on and drift 12 points off pacesetters Manchester City in the Premier League.

Despite overseeing a run of just two wins since August, Klopp insists that he is still the right man to take Liverpool forward and is adamant that he has the full support of his peers.

"I got so many messages saying, 'Don't listen to the pundits'. People think maybe I'm not the right one anymore and stuff like this," he told reporters. "Inside nobody thinks it. Not the owners and not me. OK, we can try again like two years ago and get a new manager but the problems are always the same.

"I know I am 100% responsible for all this. People think that one day you lost a half a brain or whatever. I don't think I am the problem."

Asked about talented youngsters such as Rhian Brewster and Ben Woodburn emerging from the academy, Klopp added: "I will be here, 100% – I'm convinced I'll be here when they come through."

Liverpool have lost just one of their last 15 home games in all competitions ahead of Saturday afternoon's visit of Huddersfield Town.
