Inter Milan 'interested in signing Gabriel Jesus'

Inter Milan reportedly identify Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus as a potential transfer target ahead of the summer transfer window.

Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus has reportedly been identified as a potential transfer target for Inter Milan.

Having scored 88 goals from 220 appearances in all competitions, Jesus's stint at the Etihad Stadium has been overwhelming successful.

However, eight of the Brazil international's 23 outings in the Premier League and Champions League this season have come from the substitutes' bench.

At a time when the 24-year-old also has less than 17 months remaining on his contract, Calciomercato claims that Inter are monitoring the situation.

The report claims that the Serie A giants are long-term admirers of the versatile attacker and there is a belief that they can put together an acceptable proposal for both club and player.

While City will likely push for renewed terms in the near future, the Premier League leaders will consider a sale if Jesus's contractual situation does not change by the summer. body check tags ::
