Brentford will reportedly consider reigniting their interest in Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson after completing the club-record £23m signing of defender Nathan Collins from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Bees boss Thomas Frank is looking at ways to bolster his options in attack as last season's top scorer Ivan Toney is banned for eight months after breaching FA betting rules.

Brentford are understood to have already seen a £30m bid rejected by Forest for Johnson, who scored eight goals in 38 Premier League appearances last season to help Forest avoid relegation.

Johnson has also attracted interest from the likes of Aston Villa and West Ham United, and the Daily Mail reports that the 22-year-old is in talks to switch agents to Unique Sports Group.

The Wales international still has three years remaining on his contract at the City Ground and Forest are said to be hopeful that their £60m valuation of the forward will put off potential suitors.

Staying in the Premier League, West Ham striker Michail Antonio is reportedly attracting interest from Turkish giants Galatasaray.

The 33-year-old has spent the last seven years with the Hammers, scoring 75 goals and providing 43 assists in 276 matches across all competitions.

Antonio, who won the Europa Conference League with West Ham last season, is the club's top scorer in Premier League history, with five goals netted in the 2022-23 campaign taking his goal tally to 61 in the English top flight.

However, Antonio's long-term future at the London Stadium is believed to be uncertain as the striker has just a year remaining on his contract.

According to the Daily Mail, Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray are interested in signing the Jamaica international this summer, and his potential sale could appeal to West Ham's newly-appointed technical director Tim Steidten who is focused on recruiting players with long-term potential.

Antonio is currently away with Jamaica at the CONCACAF Gold Cup, although he is yet to score in three starts for the Caribbean nation.

Over in the Championship, Cardiff City are in talks to re-sign midfielder Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to a report.

The 32-year-old is currently a free agent after turning down the chance to extend his one-year spell with Ligue 1 outfit Nice, where he scored just once in 18 top-flight appearances last season.

Ramsey has previously refused to rule out the prospect of returning to Cardiff, where he came through the ranks and made his professional debut as a 16-year-old back in 2007 before joining Arsenal a year later.

The 82-cap Wales international briefly returned to the Bluebirds on loan in 2011 to regain match fitness after recovering from a broken leg, scoring once in six league games.

BBC Sport reports that Ramsey has held talks with Cardiff over a possible return to the club who are now managed by former Fenerbahce boss Erol Bulut.

Cardiff are unable to pay transfer fees for players this summer as they are under an EFL embargo, but they can pursue a move to recruit Ramsey on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, Leicester City are reportedly considering a move for Manchester City youngster Callum Doyle this summer.

After suffering relegation from the Premier League last season, the Foxes have since appointed Enzo Maresca as their new head coach, with the 43-year-old leaving his role as an assistant coach under Pep Guardiola.

Maresca is understandably aware of the talent that Man City possess in both their senior squad and within their youth ranks, and Doyle is one of a number of prospects rated highly by the treble winners.

The 19-year-old centre-back is yet to make his senior debut for the Citizens, but he enjoyed successful season-long loan spells with Sunderland and Coventry City over the last two years, making 44 league appearances for the latter en route to the Championship playoff final last season.

According to The Athletic, Leicester are exploring a permanent move to sign Doyle, who is valued by Man City between £7m and £10m.

Leicester have already signed experienced defender Conor Coady from Wolves on a permanent deal this summer, while midfielder Harry Winks has arrived from Tottenham Hotspur. body check tags ::
