Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash with AZ.

Manchester United will be desperate to build on Saturday's shock derby day victory over Manchester City when they meet AZ at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has sent an emphatic message to his critics by beating Tottenham Hotspur and the Premier League champions in the space of four days.

The game against AZ is effectively a dead rubber for United, who are already through to the knockouts as group winners.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of this fixture.

Eric Bailly

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

The defender suffered knee ligament damage over pre-season and it remains unclear as to when he will make a full recovery.

Paul Pogba

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: December 22 (vs. Watford)

The Frenchman has been battling with a foot injury since August, with Solskjaer noting ahead of the derby that the midfielder would return before the new year but stressed that the club would take its time with the player.

Nemanja Matic

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: December 12 (vs. AZ)

The Serbia international has been sidelined since the October international break but Solskjaer noted recently that the midfielder was on the verge of making a return to action.

Diogo Dalot

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

Plagued by a groin problem since the summer, Dalot has somewhat vanished from the view of United fans, with no timescale on when he may return.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

The Dutchman remains some way off making a return to action after suffering severe knee ligament damage while on loan at Fulham last season.

Marcos Rojo

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: December 12 (vs. AZ)

Solskjaer hinted last week that the Argentine was not too far away from making a recovery but was coy over when exactly he could return.
