Greg Taylor: 'Cambridge United can't be overawed'

Cambridge United left-back Greg Taylor tells Sports Mole that his side needs to "suck in the whole atmosphere" at Old Trafford tonight.

Greg Taylor has told Sports Mole that his Cambridge United teammates will have to "suck in the whole atmosphere" if they are to stand any chance of causing an upset in their fourth-round FA Cup replay at Old Trafford this evening.

When the two sides met in Cambridgeshire 11 days ago, the League Two U's produced something of a shock as they held Louis van Gaal's Manchester United to a 0-0 draw.

However, if they are to go one better tonight by claiming a famous victory, left-back Taylor believes that Cambridge's ability to cope with the magnitude of the occasion will prove to be a key factor.

"It can be daunting when you first walk out there, but once you walk out and suck in the whole atmosphere, you understand that you've got to get down to business," said the 25-year-old.

"It depends on your character [as to whether you can cope with it]. Me personally, I can do that and I think that a lot of the lads can. Hopefully nerves will not hamper us."

On their last visit to Old Trafford back in 1991, Cambridge were defeated 3-0, with current United assistant manager Ryan Giggs among the goalscorers.
