Aaron Wan-Bissaka's chances of leaving Manchester United during this summer's transfer window are reportedly "growing".

In January, the Red Devils activated a 12-month extension in the right-back's contract, with his terms at Old Trafford now due to run until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

However, there has recently been speculation surrounding his future, with Man United said to be considering signing a new right-back this summer to provide support for Diogo Dalot.

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, the chances of Wan-Bissaka leaving the 20-time English champions during the summer market "are growing".

Galetti claims that Man United are currently monitoring potential replacements for the ex-Crystal Palace youngster, with Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong and Inter Milan's Denzel Dumfries being considered.

"The renewal of Wan Bissaka is proceeding at a slow pace: the chances that the English player will leave in the summer are growing. MUFC are already monitoring some alternatives: Jeremie Frimpong and Denzel Dumfries are on the list," the journalist wrote on X.

Meanwhile, a recent report claimed that Man United scouted Torino's Raoul Bellanova against Roma, with the 23-year-old also being considered as a right-back signing.

Wan-Bissaka came through the youth system at Palace, progressing to the first team in 2016, and he made 46 appearances for the club before arriving at Man United in the summer of 2019.

The defender was a constant in his first two seasons at Old Trafford, making 46 outings in 2019-20 and 54 in 2020-21, but he has faced competition from Dalot over the last three campaigns.

Wan-Bissaka was heavily linked with a move away from Man United in late 2022, but an injury that Dalot suffered while representing Portugal at the World Cup opened the door for him to prove himself to Erik ten Hag.

The full-back has been restricted to just 17 appearances during the 2023-24 campaign, having struggled with injury problems.

Wan-Bissaka was absent between the end of September and start of November due to a hamstring issue, while he has been on the sidelines since the middle of January.

The defender has missed Man United's last five Premier League matches, and he will again be absent for the Manchester derby on Sunday afternoon due to his latest muscular problem.

Palace are believed to be interested in re-signing Wan-Bissaka this summer, although Man United will have to accept a significant reduction on the £50m that they spent on him in the summer of 2019. body check tags ::
