Arsenal and Manchester United will reportedly have to negotiate with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy if they wish to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as manager.
Despite dispensing with Pochettino last month, Spurs remain entitled to a compensation fee from any club that hires the Argentine next.
The 47-year-old recently confirmed that, following a break in his native Argentina lasting 10 days, he would be ready to return to management.
According to The Telegraph, this will mean that any interested parties must go through Levy, who is an infamously difficult opponent at the negotiating table.
Arsenal have reportedly listed Pochettino as a 'credible' candidate in their search for a new permanent boss following the sacking of Unai Emery.
United, meanwhile, have been linked with Pochettino for some time amid Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's struggles in the dugout this season.
