Barcelona vice-president Javier Faus has insisted that Cesc Fabregas will not be leaving the club this summer.
Manchester United have made the Spanish midfielder their number one target, although Barca have rejected two bids so far.
Faus confirmed that the interest from the Premier League champions is real, but claimed that the 26-year-old will stay at Camp Nou.
"It's a theme in sports. He has a contract, the club and the coach want him to stay," Faus told Sport.
"Come on, he will stay. The interest is real. but we have no intention of letting him go."
United are rumoured to be lining up a bid for Yohan Cabaye if their Fabregas bid fails.
