Former Manchester United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak is reportedly close to joining Ipswich Town on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old was released by United at the end of last season and it is understood that he is keen to remain in England.
Town boss Paul Jewell has moved to the head of the queue, according to The Mirror, but he will reportedly face competition from a number of Championship clubs.
The Pole has 10 international caps to his name.
