Manchester United to miss out on Hakan Calhanoglu?

Manchester United are reportedly likely to miss out on signing AC Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu on a free transfer this summer.

Manchester United are reportedly expected to fail with any bid to sign AC Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu.

The Turkey international has enjoyed one of the best seasons of his career, contributing one goal and eight assists from 22 outings in Serie A.

However, despite his status at San Siro, having less than four months remaining on his contract has led to speculation regarding his long-term future.

According to Italian journalist Nicola Schira, the 27-year-old is eager to extend his stay with the Rossoneri past the end of this campaign.

Despite interest from United, it is suggested that negotiations between Milan and Calhanoglu are now at an advanced stage.

The two parties are said to have agreed on a contract which will run until the end of 2024-25. body check tags ::
