Manchester United 'to renew interest in Harry Maguire'

Manchester United prepare to reignite their interest in Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing to reignite their interest in Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire in this summer's transfer window.

Maguire was strongly linked with a move to United last summer off the back of helping England reach the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup.

The 26-year-old ultimately stayed at the King Power Stadium and penned a new long-term contract, but there remains speculation surrounding the defender's future.

United are widely expected to spend big on at least one new centre-back ahead of the 2019-20 campaign, and according to ESPN FC, the 20-time English champions are preparing to renew their interest in Maguire.

The England international - previously valued around the £80m mark - has scored three times in 30 Premier League appearances for the Foxes this season.
