Brazilian striker Leandro Damiao has revealed that Spurs have made an offer to sign him.
The 22-year-old currently plies his trade for Internacional, where he has scored 52 goals in 86 games.
Barcelona, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are all reported to be interested in the 6ft 1in forward.
However, it appears Harry Redknapp has stolen a march on the competition.
"I am not aware of an offer from PSG. I have had no contact with PSG or Leonardo," the 22-year-old told Telefoot.
"For now, I think about my club and the Copa Libertadores. In July, if a proposal comes, it will be discussed.
"All that I know is that Tottenham have made an offer."
Damiao, who has four caps for Brazil, scored his first goal for his country in a 1-0 win over Ghana at Craven Cottage in September.
