Blackburn Rovers forward Joshua King scores a brace to add to a strike from Cardiff's Mats Moller Daehli as Norway beat Malta 3-0 in their Euro 2016 Group H qualifier.

English-based players scored all of Norway's goals as they beat Malta 3-0 in Valletta this evening to record their first Group H win in Euro 2016 qualifying.

Blackburn Rovers forward Joshua King bagged a brace to add to an opener from Cardiff City's Mats Moller Daehli as the visitors cruised to a comfortable victory.

Delhi netted Norway's first goal in four games when he collected a square pass from King to squeeze a shot past Malta goalkeeper Andrew Hogg at the far post on 23 minutes.

King exposed the same area of the pitch moments later when he darted into the area from the left flank, cut back on himself to dodge a sliding tackle and thump home his third international goal.

Malta, who have lost 11 of their last 12 internationals, had their moments as Clayton Failla tested Norway keeper Orjan Haaskjold Nyland twice with long-range shots in the minutes before the break.

However, Norway put the game beyond the hosts four minutes into the second half as Per Ciljan Skjelbred stood up a cross to the back post for King to power a header across goal into the far corner.

Former Coventry City striker Michael Mifsud wasted a good chance for Malta to grab a consolation as the minnows were condemned to a second loss of the campaign, while Norway bounced back from defeat to Italy.
