Former Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo is reportedly on the verge of joining Porto.

Dani Osvaldo is reportedly close to joining Porto after being released by Southampton.

The striker had his contract terminated by the Saints last month following a rocky relationship with the Premier League club.

Osvaldo, 29, joined Southampton in 2013 for nearly £13m before the club sent him out on loan to Juventus, Inter Milan and Boca Juniors.

The Italian could now be on his way to Porto to play for Julen Lopetegui's side, according to The Mirror.

Osvaldo has scored four goals in 14 appearances for his country since 2011.
