Real Sociedad have reportedly emerged as the most likely destination for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Rafinha.

Since moving to the Parc des Princes in October 2020, the 28-year-old has been provided with 37 appearances in all competitions.

However, just five of those outings have come this season, the versatile Brazilian last featuring for PSG back on October 15.

With the French giants keen to reduce their playing squad, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano says that the former Barcelona man could be returning to La Liga with Sociedad.

Although a number of details are allegedly still to be agreed, Romano claims that Rafinha is likely to move to the Anoeta Stadium on a six-month loan.

Sociedad are keen for reinforcements after losing their last four league fixtures, a run of form which has led to them dropping down to sixth position in the standings.
