Auxerre vs. Lens (Saturday, 8.00pm)
With their fate in their own hands heading into the final matchday in Ligue 1, Auxerre host second-placed Lens at the Stade de l'Abbe Deschamps knowing that a win will guarantee them a spot in the top flight for 2023-24.
Christophe Pelissier's side gleaned a potentially priceless point in their basement battle in a 1-1 draw with Toulouse last weekend, while Les Sang et Or's title dreams were dashed despite a convincing 3-0 win over Ajaccio.
We say: Auxerre 1-1 Lens
With second place now assured and nothing significant left to fight for, it would only be natural for Lens to take their foot off the gas a tad, and any complacency should no doubt be capitalised on by an Auxerre side fighting for their lives.
Haise's side have often flattered to deceive on the road as well, and while we can envisage a fired-up Auxerre gleaning a point on the final day, such an outcome could still drop them below the dotted line depending on results in Brittany.

Monaco vs. Toulouse (Saturday, 8.00pm)
Monaco will be looking to break back into the European places when they host Toulouse in the final round of Ligue 1 fixtures on Saturday.
The Monegasques find themselves outside the top five on goal difference, while Toulouse are well clear of relegation trouble thanks to a positive comeback campaign in the top flight.

Sitting outside the top five on goal difference, Monaco should strengthen their bid for European football with a relatively comfortable victory over Toulouse, who have nothing to play for on the final day of the season.

Lorient and Strasbourg meet at the Stade du Moustoir for a final day clash in Ligue 1 this Saturday.
With the visitors now comfortably safe from relegation, this game has become a dead rubber, with both having nothing left to play for.

With both sides only playing for pride, the two could take their foot off the pedal and play with more freedom here.
Strasbourg have been impressive in attack in particular despite their lowly league position, and could well take something from this game.

That scenario would see them join already-relegated opponents Angers in the second tier next season.

Nantes have not looked like a side capable of avoiding the drop in recent weeks, and with their manager questioning the attitude of the players, relegation could be confirmed here.
Angers have shown fight recently despite a woeful season, and manager Dujeux will hope to take some confidence into the next campaign by going three games unbeaten for the first time all season.

Lyon travel to the Allianz Riviera to face Nice on the final day of the Ligue 1 season this Saturday.
The visitors know they need a miraculous set of scorelines in their favour to qualify for Europe this season.

Lyon have been one of the best sides in France during 2023, and even though they will fancy their chances to win here, it will surely not be enough to claim a spot in Europe.

Aiming to celebrate their Ligue 1 title coronation in the right way and end another turbulent campaign with a flourish, Paris Saint-Germain welcome Clermont to the Parc des Princes for Saturday's finale.
Christophe Galtier's team wrapped up their 11th top-flight crown in a 1-1 draw with Strasbourg last weekend, while their visitors are certain of a top-half finish in a campaign that has exceeded all expectations.

While Clermont command plenty of respect from their title-winning hosts, Gastien's side realistically only have pride to play for, and recent shortcomings on their travels will do them no favours whatsoever.
PSG's depleted defence is hardly impenetrable on the Parc des Princes turf, but in what will likely be the farewell match of Galtier, Messi and others, the champions should grind out a professional win to give their departing contingent the perfect send-off.

Rennes will be looking to secure European football for next season when they travel to Brest on the final day of the Ligue 1 campaign.
The visitors defeated Monaco to leapfrog their top-five rivals last weekend, while the hosts extended their winning streak to three matches.

Knowing that three points will guarantee European football for next season, Rennes will likely go all out to secure the win on Saturday, but in-form Brest will not go down without a fight.
Given that Brest have won each of their last three matches – and each of their previous five on home soil – we expect the Pirates to frustrate the European chasers.

Lille will be looking to book their place in next season's Europa League as they lock horns with Ligue 2-bound Troyes at the Stade de l'Aube on Saturday.
Following back-to-back wins, LOSC find themselves one point inside the top four, while Troyes sit third from bottom having last tasted victory all the way back in January.
We say: Troyes 0-2 Lille
Of course, Troyes will be desperate to give their fans something to cheer about on the final day of the campaign, having failed to win any of their previous 20 league matches, but Lille are expected to heap more misery on the relegated outfit while securing Europa League football.
