Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has said that he wants to emulate former managers Jack Charlton and Mick McCarthy after qualifying for Euro 2016.
Jonathan Walters scored twice in Dublin to give Ireland a 2-0 win on the night as they beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-1 on aggregate to reach their second successive European Championships.
After sealing the victory, O'Neill told BBC Sport that he hopes to progress from the group stages at next summer's tournament, just as Charlton and McCarthy did at the 1990 and 2002 World Cups.
"This is a special night which cannot be taken away from us," said O'Neill.
"We will have a massive contingent of fans going to France and I would like to emulate the days of Jack Charlton and Mick McCarthy."
Ireland have been named in Pot Four for the group stage draw, which will take place in Paris on December 12.
