Roma have signed Argentine attacking midfielder Leandro Paredes on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old joined fellow Italian side Chievo on an 18-month deal from Boca Juniors earlier this year, but only made one appearance for the club.
The Giallorossi, who finished second in Serie A last season, also revealed that they have the option of signing Paredes at the end of the forthcoming campaign should they wish.
Former England international Ashley Cole also joined Roma earlier this month.
